We are seeking a forward-thinking individual who is self -motivated and committed to making a difference and can identify and maximise opportunities to increase income. Ideally you will be a confident and resourceful team player who is flexible to work outside office hours. You will also have experience of planning, budgeting and working with volunteers and a knowledge of a range of fundraising techniques used in community fundraising.

Rehomer Dog Welfare - Maternity cover
36 hrs per week

We are looking for a Rehomer to cover maternity leave in our dog section. This position is physically demanding and it is important that you can work as part of a team. An interest in animal welfare is required; however, it is not necessary for candidates to have worked with animals previously as training will be provided.
This position involves working directly with the dogs and in dog reception to assist in the rehoming of the animals in our care, therefore good basic administration and customer service skills are required.
The hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm working 36 hours per week on a two week rota which will include working alternatives weekends.
Starting salary £5.98 p/h

Donor Development Officer

This is a fantastic new opportunity to work with the region's leading animal welfare charity as a Donor Development Officer. You will be directly responsible for delivering target income from our current supporters via direct marketing activity and encouraging new support to the Charity.
The ideal candidate will be a fundraiser looking for their next challenge. They will have a successful track record working in a fundraising or direct marketing role, with clear project management experience and strong attention to detail. Experience of using a fundraising database, preferably Raisers Edge is essential. Additionally experience of working with Excel spreadsheets and databases to extract and analyse data is a must.
In this role you will play a major part in our small but growing team who are focused on raising funds.
