Cleaner [K0764] Part Time weekends The Environmental Services Team are responsible for all internal cleanliness here at Wood Green Animal Shelters, Godmanchester. You will join an existing team and will be required to work up to 8 hours weekends only, 4pm to 8pm per day but start time is negotiable. Experience of cleaning routines would be advantages although full training will be given. Ideally we are looking for a person to join our team who is friendly, conscientious and flexible in the hours they can work. Legacy Officer & Company Secretary [ K0762]
You will be responsible for the management of all activities associated with legacy giving. From promotion through to case management, your contribution will be key in helping to sustain our day to day activities. As Company Secretary, you will be the guardian of good governance for the Charity and its trading company. Being a qualified solicitor, you should have proven experience in legacy work, coupled with sound knowledge of Charity law and its application. Security Officer – K0761 Full Time – 42 hours/week An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within the Facilities Security Team here at Wood Green Animal Shelters. The successful candidate will be required to work 42 hours per week in 12 hour shifts over seven days/nights. The role requires normal security duties i.e. locking and unlocking, patrolling (52 acres), providing staff support as well as supporting the charities animal welfare aspirations going forward. Although the provision is provided in house, you will be required to gain SIA approval. A flexible approach to working hours is required within this challenging role. You will be friendly, reliable and conscientious and be a team player. You must also have an interest in animal welfare. For the right candidate we are prepared to pay £8.00 per hour plus an additional £10.00 per night, night shift allowance. This is a rare opportunity, don’t sit back and let it slip by. Future Rehomer Cat Welfare K0760 Full time 40 hrs We are looking for a future Rehomer to join our cat section. This position is physically demanding and it is important that you can work as part of a team. An interest in animal welfare is required; however, it is not necessary for candidates to have worked with animals previously as training will be provided. This position involves working directly with the cats and in cat reception to assist in the rehoming of the animals in our care, therefore good basic administration and customer service skills are required. The post also includes working one weekend in three. It is important that applicants have a strong desire to work for a leading animal welfare charity. Starting salary £12,270.96 p/a
